Welcome! I’m a natural sensitive, developing practice since my teens. I may “see”, “hear” or “feel” information when I read the oracle, but use no label. Honing my intuition to assist others is a welcome occupation. In a fog of emotion or drama, or facing a tricky decision, it can be good to have intuitive, objective guidance. Most callers are sensitive too and we feel things deeply; sometimes overwhelmingly. Even a brief reading can help you realign.
I am an intuitive, using Tarot to investigate and confirm. Catching phrases and information ‘clairaudiently’ may be a part of this. ‘Clairsentience’ might describe other ways I receive insight.
English. I love French and started learning Spanish, but pas bon!
I will ask what you want to look at, because it’s good to have some focus and be present. I shuffle the pack whilst “tuning in”, split the pack into piles and ask you to choose one or more, before laying them out. It might go deeper than you thought, so it’s good to be in a receptive state. If you’re out with your dog and shouting it back from escape, driving with loudspeaker on, or otherwise distracted it won’t work properly. A quick question might be addressed ‘on the fly’, depending on its nature. I provide the truth as I see it, even if I tread a bit softly at first (depends). Unless we’ve built a rapport, I won’t know how vulnerable you might be. If you are chatting or explaining, I am tuning in and listening, picking up things to feed back. I confirm and expand those intuitions with tarot if needs be, describing prominent cards for evidence and reference. I don’t like fortune-telling. Being told the future is not of benefit to you. We can look at possible futures, if you carry on doing what you’re doing. Then you can choose what to do with the guidance. You’re in the driving seat 100% and 24/7. Doesn’t that feel good?
It started with pre-school dreams of a way-out nature, setting a precedent for life ahead. As I got older, I read lots of relevant books and began using the Tarot, Runes and I-Ching. I used to live and work near Camden and visited a local spiritual church with two colleagues who were regulars. I most enjoyed the tea and biccies after, but it was an eye-opener too. I then used to visit a special woman called Ann Walker, a medium, who’s passed away now. “When the pupil’s ready, the teacher appears”, perfectly sums up my spiritual path and from there I began more of a healing path, refining my understanding to this moment. The ‘journey’ never stopped, but for one spell of time I disconnected, going through denial, doubt and scepticism. Then I decided to load myself with different flower remedies, turning up feeling hopeless and bedraggled for a “look round” a flower essence shop with a dynamic healer, owner and ex-nurse at the helm. I’d caught a train for a brief escape from London. That jaunt was not by chance—my subconscious pushed me back to my true purpose (one of them!) We talked about the remedies I’d taken and she nearly exploded and said, “No wonder you feel bad!” From there, I was back on my path, with her unique style of healing to guide and inform me. This lady also taught reiki and the feminine equivalent of reiki (I’ve forgotten what it’s called!) I studied and practiced at so-called ‘Master’ level but don’t practice now. I’m well up for hearing metaphysical things explained in scientific terms and believe we’ll get there. Several quantum scientists and pioneer healers do this already, to some degree.
Picking up the tarot in my late teens.
I taught myself to use tarot, then joined a beginners’ then advanced tarot course with a wonderful and experienced tarot and astrology teacher. After that, I attended monthly tarot workshops led by the same teacher, till I moved away from London. I have been through the stages of reiki to ‘Master’ level. Although I don’t practice anymore, seeking higher understanding from personal healing is ongoing and positively affects my lifestyle and approach to this work. I thank every Kooma customer from the first to my latest for being a part of this path.
I've had many spiritual experiences that have given me food for thought, fear, hope and inspiration. All are personally meaningful and may be described as prophetic or lucid dreams; clear "visions" i.e., definite pictorial impressions; so-called out-of-body experiences; synchronicity that has blown my mind; strong hunches which then occur physically, or are confirmed by another person; gaining inspiration or answers to questions in dreams, or just as I am waking up. There are other things that defy rational explanation, so I am careful about what I publicly express
I’ve worked with Kooma since the beginning and although it is a business, I believe they have integrity — thanks to all at Kooma for keeping things running. I am not a master of self-promotion so this company helps with that. I like the way telephone and IM readings work. The absence of a body seems effective. I have no issue using the telephone, which helps! In this day of What’s App, social media, text and email, it’s good to make a voice connection. I love my landline, I don’t want them to become extinct!
Perhaps as a bridge between old and new: using an old-school oracle to introduce new ways of understanding Consciousness, and to help consider our relationship with ourselves, before achieving true love and harmony with others.
Same as above. I can look at others’ perspectives and feelings, without being invasive. I ask to see ONLY for the highest good, when checking absent third parties and their lives. I won’t see all the ‘dirty laundry’ of their situation if we’re not allowed to know, because that’s how I approach it. Thought “travels” and every thought affects its subject and thus, ourselves.
I have "um'd" and "ah'd" about this 'clairvoyant' label, but the truth is that like many of us, I do "see" stuff that isn't seen with my physical eyes. Most often it's in dream-like states, or coming out of deep relaxation. Clear snapshots of buildings, places, or people that become significant to future events. I believe the future is not truly predictable though! There are so many different paths to take and decisions to make at every split-second juncture. I "see" things during readings sometimes and I can't explain how. Maybe a piece of someone's jewellery or important features of someone close to the client, but because it isn't something I can promise to do, I am careful about this label. "Clairsentient" and "clairaudient" would apply to me more than clairvoyance. I often feel and know what is around the corner for someone or me. I am looking forward to the time when science and the paranormal are one and the same thing, so I can explain myself more comfortably!
These ancient symbols provide powerful insight into the NOW - the only moment of true importance. On a mundane level, they can be great as one, two or three rune readings to determine a helpful course of action, or to aid a difficult decision. I use Ralph Blum's interpretations as my reference and will ask for your permission to read his words to you, if it’s one rune to finish off a deep reading.
